Solenn Heussaff plans to leave showbiz in three to five years: “I love doing what I do pero hindi ako born sa showbiz.

“Nung nabasa ko yung script, sobrang excited ako, kasi siyempre, ibang-iba ‘to.

“Favorite movies ko yung Wicker ParkUnfaithful—mga psycho na girl, gusto ko yung ganun.

“Yung parang psycho siya, pero wala siyang masamang ugali. Kasi loner talaga siya.

“Tapos pag nagmahal siya, she gives everything, so I think a lot of people can relate,” kuwento niya.

Kuwento niya, “Actually, I didn’t know who he was at first kasi when I started in showbiz, I did not know anyone.

More seductive, more daring

MANILA, Philippines - Solenn Heussaff is slated to appear in her most challenging and most daring role to date, as she portrays the role of Sophia in Peque Gallaga’s Seduction.

The French-Filipina beauty, who is signed exclusively to Regal Films, experiences a lot of firsts in her new movie outing. For one, Seduction marks Solenn’s first full-length team-up with Richard Gutierrez. Solenn and Richard have already proven their good chemistry onscreen and indeed, they do look good together.

This is also Solenn’s first “sexy” and most daring film to date, where she plays Sophia, a modern, outgoing and liberated Fil-European girl who always gets what she wants. It’s a role that Solenn has not done before, and when the script of Seduction, was being written, it was a unanimous decision that the society-beauty-turned-celebrity/actress fits the role to a T. In fact, when Solenn read the script, she fell in love with her role.

The Sophia role is Solenn’s first serious portrayal. In fact, it’s her most challenging role to date. It’s very provocative and dramatic, as a woman who is not only looking for love, but also a woman who will do anything and everything for love.

“It’s a very complex, complicated role,” says Solenn. “Sophia has been through a lot, and she’ll fight for what she believes in.”

Solenn prepared for the role by attending extensive workshops, including a few with director Peque. This is direk Peque’s return to filmmaking, and Solenn is honored and excited to be one of the lead actors in what seems to be one of the most emotional, must-see films of the year.

Seduction also stars Sarah Lahbati. Completing the cast are Jay Manalo, Yayo Aguila and Mark Gil, with the special participation of Rodjun Cruz and introducing Jon Orlando of TV5’s Artista Academy.

Regal Films’ “Seduction” stars Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati and Solenn Heussaff

Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker, Peque Gallaga (“Oro, Plata, Mata”, “Scorpio Nights”), “Seduction” will hit theaters on January 30.
Like his previous films that are beaming with love scenes and violence, Gallaga’s “Seduction” trailer seems to be offering the same.
Daring, it could be likened more to “Scorpio Nights”. But how far would the actors go to show their skin for this film? Are Filipino moviegoers love for something different, which could be easily suspected as a quality one considering it is bearing Gallaga’s name, be rekindled despite the current trends in the industry?
Though not your typical ‘No Other Woman’ or ‘A Secret Affair’ or ‘One More Try,’ the film’s topic seems not entirely different. It’s superiority over those hit films would be the execution.
The challenge? Movie buffs are all aware that all the three leads are actors-to-be in its real sense.
By using good lines and not but repressed acting, the film seems a great challenge for the actors’ acting abilities as it is a new challenge for Gallaga’s ability as a director – make actors’ act naturally as he did in his previous notable films.
This is the first feature film that star real-life couple, Gutierrez and Lahbati. A breakthrough for them should they exhibit acting powers. Acceptance of the moviegoers would just follow.
Heussaff, who is considered one of the Philippines’ sexiest women oozing with sex appeal, just got the film for her. The actress did well in the remake of “Temptation Island,” there’s no doubt she will surpass her previous performance for this one.

Greenwich Better Than Any Other Christmas

kellymisa:

Last week was another memorable Greenwich event as we celebrated our Christmas party with our media friends. The barkada was almost complete that day: John Lloyd couldn’t join us for the party, but everyone showed up despite their busy schedules. It was a day of fun and games—we all ended up laughing, singing and eating to our heart’s content!

As always, it never feels like work when I’m with my Greenwich barkada. Its been three years since I joined this awesome group and so far its been super fun! All we do is goof around and make kwentuhan when were together, which goes to show what a great barkada this is to belong to.

You can just imagine how crazy it gets when we shoot commercials and print ads. These are always a riot as Greenwich allows us to be our crazy selves. We end up shooting alternate endings and funny outtakes which are later shown on TV.

I think it helps that were really all friends on and off screen. I met most of them way back when we were all just starting out in modeling, or through common friends. So there was no weirdness from the start, we all knew each other. And thanks to countless hours of shoots and events, we all share a bond that’s beyond the yummy pizza and pasta we are selling.

Christmas parties are all about fun and games, of course. Here we are playing ‘Pinoy Henyo’—girls vs boys. We girls won, of course!

It was also Vince’s birthday that day so we gave him a cake and sang him a song.

Making kwento how we all met. Of course, we all just end up laughing.

Solenn sobrang daring sa ‘Seduction’

image

Kuwento pa ni Solenn, “This is the first time na sobrang into character ako. Kahit nasa bahay ako, when I look at myself in the mirror, parang si Sofia pa rin ako.“

“I think everyone will be surprised with our performances, and also Sarah Lahbati who’s still young, pero yung role niya rito very mature. Chard’s (Richard Gutierrez) character here has an asshole side.“

Gaano naman kaya siya ka-dar ing dito?

Paliwanag niya, “Hindi naman gaanong daring. Like I said, yung movie na ito, very challenging, very mature.

“I don’t know what you mean by `daring.’ Alam ko sa mga Pilipino, pag sinabing `daring,’ makikita ba ang puwet, boobs, and like that. But I don’t really think of things like that… But pag kasama sa scenes namin, ginagawa namin.“

Saad niya, “Never really been out three. Confident ako sa looks ko, and normal ako with my body, pag hindi bastos yung tingin ko, gagawin ko.“ (Arniel C. Serato)

Richard Gutierrez torn between Sarah Lahbati and Solenn Heussaff in erotic drama ‘Seduction’

Kapuso prime actor Richard Gutierrez hops from doing wholesome and “good” roles to doing more mature, revealing, and sexy roles, which might leave everyone in surprise as the coming year opens for his newest flick “Seduction.”

The 28-year-old heartthrob has already shot some scenes for the film, which is directed by none other than Peque Gallaga, who also helmed “Scorpio Nights” and “Unfaithful Wife.”

The movie co-stars sexy Kapuso stars Solenn Heussaff and Richard’s real-life girlfriend, Startstruckwinner Sarah Lahbati.

A report from Interaksyon said Richard will not only figure in steamy bed scenes with both his female co-stars, but will also bare his backside in a pivotal scene.

Richard said he trusts Direk Peque, who was impressed by the actor when they worked together on GMA-7’s 2005 TV series “Sugo.”

“I knew what he could do as actor. I’ve been itching to work with him again since then,” said Peque in an interview.

“Seduction” tells the story of a man, portrayed by Richard, as an antipatiko and utak pulbura guy who is torn between two women, one who is “fire,” while the other being the “rain.”

“Si Solenn ang ‘fire,’ kumbaga exciting but destructive. Si Sarah naman ang ‘rain’ who’s very conservative, mabait, life giving. Ang seduction dito ay hindi physical kundi more of psychological. Na-seduce dahil sa pagkatao,” Peque said.

Richard, who is excited to go out of his comfort zone, said he’ll do everything to deliver.

“Siguradong magugulat ang mga tao sa mga eksena kasi first time nila ako makikita this way. It’s such an honor to be on this set and to be working with such professionals,” he said.

“Seduction” starts rolling in theaters on January 30 as Regal Entertainment’s opening salvo for 2013.
